Reformer

Restorative

A Level 1 class that focuses on functional movement, proper alignment and improving balance. This class will move at a slower pace to ensure that you learn the Pilates principles. This is a positive and encouraging way to begin to build more strength and flexibility while beginning to learn the “why” behind each exercise. You will learn the modifications you may need in more advanced classes and an emphasis will be placed exercises that are safe for those with osteoporosis.

Level 1

This all- level class takes you through a total body workout using the progressive resistance of springs on the Pilates REFORMER and TOWER. Focusing on building strength and stamina while teaching the foundations of Pilates, this class will have a continuous pace and moderate tempo. Modifications will be provided and students are encouraged to work at their own pace. Don’t worry — you will still be challenged to the core.

*Appropriate for MOST students (barring existing injuries or conditions- check with us if you’re unsure). The Pilate Barre reserves the right to direct you to private instruction to learn fundamentals before you continue in a group setting for your own safety.

 

Level 2

Adding more variation and intensity, this class allows you to experience intermediate level exercise with increased repetitions and a stronger emphasis on alignment. Find your love-hate relationship with spring weight and discover muscles you might not have known you had.

Jump Express

30 minutes of nonstop jumping fun. This class is focused on the cardiovascular aspect of the Jump Board and makes for great combination with one of our Level 1 or Level 2 Reformer classes. Or take this class by itself if you are tight on time!

Jump Interval

Incorporating 25 minutes of plyometric intervals using the jumpboard (think “horizontal trampoline”) with bursts of strength training for arms, legs, abs, back, and glutes. You’ll be having too much fun to even notice that you’re sweating!

Barre

Barre Fusion

Take your Pilates workout to the next level by utilizing resistance bands, light weights and the ballet barre along with your favorite Pilates apparatus. Possibly our most “feel-the-burn” class.

 

Cardio Barre

*Our Signature Class

A playground of props combined with your favorite Pilates apparatus to create 50 minutes of fun. Incorporating the slide board, balance disks and resistance bands, this class will make the most of every exercise minute. Guaranteed to make you sweat!

Please note – you must have attended a minimum of 10 classes at our studio or have instructor approval before attending. This is a fast paced class and the 10 class requirement is to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable class experience.

Tower

Tower

Recovery

A great way to wrap up a weekend and reset your body for the week  This class will start with a light warm up and then focus on stretching, range of motion and balance using the resistance of springs and your favorite props.
